DESCRIPTION:Locally Owned and Operated by Pat and Vikki Mitchell\n\nThe Human Bean not only serves smoothies\,coffee and tea\n\nalso features locally sourced burritos\, pastries and bagels. \nThe Human Bean truly are locally owned and operated\,\n\nhave a wide variety of beverages and food items and\n\nsupport our local communities. Maintaining a\n\n good relationship with Porterville Military Academy\n\nand have done several events at the school and they\n\nhave done a fundraiser at our store. the Human Bean has \n\nalso worked with Monache High School and Porterville High\n\nschool for fundraisers at our stores.\n\n \n\nThe Human Bean offer a Guest Barista fundraising opportunity for schools\,\n\nteams and other organizations that are a good fit for us.\n\nFor a 2-hour time period our "Guest Baristas" work at the store. \n\nWe do all the work and they interact with the customers and\n\ncan hand out drinks if they choose. During that 2-hour time period\n\nthey receive all the tips and we give them 10% of that day's net sales.\n\n It's a very fun event.
