About Us
As a longstanding medical facility serving generations of Tulare County families, Sequoia Family Medical Center is centered on the patient-provider relationship. We deliver individualized and culturally-informed medical care and wellness resources to members of our community. With four locations, we believe that everyone should have access to superior healthcare and a family of providers who can walk with them on their wellness journey.
Sequoia Family Medical Center has a long history of providing primary care services to the surrounding community. Our Porterville location initially opened in 1973 and since then has been a place where generations of community members have received quality health care. Dr. Jasvir Sidhu joined the practice in 1984 and a decade later transformed the facility to a rural health clinic to serve all patrons of the south valley.
Dr. Sidhu and his daughter, Dr. Jaisimaran Sidhu along with SFMC Medical Director, Dr. Rohit Arora, now operate their private family practice offices alongside Sequoia Family Medical Center.
